Dogs are allowed at the park,but MUST be on leashes at all times.

Please note that due to undergoing renovations, the park's primitive camping is NOT open to the general public.  If you were planning on camping, click here for some nearby areas where you can do so. 

WHILE THERE ARE MANY CHAIRS PROVIDED, MANY PEOPLE CHOSE TO BRING THEIR OWN COMFORTABLE FOLD-UP CHAIRS.

​If you wish to stay at a hotel near the Festival, Tropi Rock is located 1.5 miles from Birch State Park. They currently have 10 rooms and a suite available for the weekend of the Festival. Although prices could go up, the prices that we were quoted are:
Studio w/ king - 1/27 & 1/28 - $125/night; 1/29 - $107/night
Studio w/ 2 queens or doubles - 1/27 & 1/28 - $134/night; 1/29 - $116/night
Deluxe studio/w 2 doubles - 1/27 & 1/28 - $152/night; 1/29 - $134/night
(The deluxe suite has a kitchen with a table and is suitable if a small group wanted to share a room.) These prices are subject to change up OR down.

Because it is the height of the season here in South Florida, these rooms will fill up quickly, so if interested in staying there you should book right away. The rooms are guaranteed until Dec 28 and rooms at area hotels are being held too if these 10 filled up, but might be at a slightly higher rate. Let her know you are with South Florida Folk Festival.Hugh Taylor Birch State Park
